A court case is about to rock the Metropolitan Police, after a reporter from the Mail on Sunday was recorded confirming that Det. Sup. Richard Turner of the Met was the source behind leaks to the newspaper to rubbish former FRU agent Kevin Fulton over his claims on the Omagh Bomb. Turner was working on the Stevens 3 inquiry.
It is also known that the former FRU handler Martin Ingram taped Mail on Sunday reporter Ian Galligher, confirming that Rick Turner as the Met source.
Another former Mail on Sunday reporter Chester Stern, also confirmed to Fulton and another former FRU agent, W. Carlin, that his friend Rick Turner was helping with the story.
