Not surprised too much, today I found out that the online video of U.S. Marine Corps Lt. Gen. James Mattis at a panel discussion in San Diego where he said "It's fun killing some people"

htttp://images.ibsys.com/2005/0202/4153570_320X240.jpg

was censored,  REMOVED from NBCSandiego.com NBC 7/39 Feed Room.

URL of that video file was

http://cf.nbcsandiego.com/dgo/sh/videoplayer/video.cfm?id=4154699owner=dgo

but if you go there now, instead of watching Lt. Gen. James Mattis you will see another video completely irrelevant, though at the web page having that news item "Marine General's Blunt Comments Draw Fire Some Audience Members Clap"

there is still that dead (killed) link.

I mean, if you click image (http://images.ibsys.com/2005/0202/4154698_120X90.jpg) link (in html source class=RelatedBox) title "Feed Room: General's Comment Draw Fire" you could watch video file

http://cf.nbcsandiego.com/dgo/sh/videoplayer/video.cfm?id=4154699owner=dgo

but it's not any more, the NBCSandiego's video of the General having fun killing "some people."

No, it was replaced by a video clip "Family: Cemetery Lost Remains: Cemetery Looking For Ashes. The remains of a local man who died 20 years ago are missing, NBC 7/39 reported on Thursday."

The video clip has the same URL and id (4154699).

The default URL for  NBC 7/39 Feed Room is

http://nbcsandiego.feedroom.com/index.jsp?auto_band=X

So, don't look for ashes of  the U.S. Marine Corps Lt. General James Mattis's video at NBC San Diego "cemetery." His video-taped statement, "It's fun killing some people," and the audience laughing and clapping to that - are missing as well as the remains of a local man who died 20 years ago.

But, thank God, the memory of both poor men will live as well as the censorship.
