The Swift was built by Incat/Bollinger Shipbuilders, an Australian-USA joint venture, delivered to the Navy in August 2003. The US Army has a similar vessel, TSV-1X USAV Spearhead:

The Navy High Speed Vessel 2 Swift operates off the coast of Hawaii during Rim of the Pacific Exercise 2004 on July 10, 2004. Swift, a wave-piercing catamaran with an aluminum hull, can move at speeds greater than 45 knots. Rim of the Pacific is an international exercise that enhances the joint cooperation and proficiency of maritime and air forces of Australia, Canada, Chile, Peru, Japan, Republic of Korea, the United Kingdom and the United States.
