The former British agent known as Kevin Fulton who was arrested in London by PSNI officers earlier this week has been released without charge.
He had been brought back to NI to be questioned about the murders of Eoin
Morley and Ranger Cyril Smith.
Ranger Smith died in a bomb blast in 1990 while trying to rescue a man who
had been forced to drive a car bomb into a checkpoint near Newry.
Eoin Morley, 23, was shot dead in the Derrybeg area of Newry in 1990.
The killing came amid tensions between the IRA and the Irish People's Liberation
Organisation, a splinter republican paramilitary faction.

The past 30 odd years of conflict only served to remind the Irish people that there is no level too low for the brits. What can we expect from the people who fire-stormed Dresden and sent the sas to train the khmer rouge? Unless an army has the resolve to go down into the mire with them, as Tom Barry described the tan war, they are condemned to futility.
Even at their height, the provos couldn't have played at that level. Moral and strategic limitations would have made it impossible; because it would have required the callousness of the lvf or raf. No-warning carbombs in english cities and hun estates might have done it but Republican ideals could never allow that to happen and rightly so.
The war was, for the most part. conducted with honor and dignity by Republicans who resisted being dragged down to the level of the brits and huns. Indeed, the dishonorable hands of ruc and mi5 are all over many of the operations that discredited republicans; warnings ignored, devices tampered with and evil agents killed scores of civilians and volunteers. They will do it again; why keep gear out and offer them the chance?
We cannot beat them militarily without resorting to unacceptable tactics
but we don't have to join them. The brit elite make me sick; they are the
most persistently evil fuckers in history. their presence, garrison population
and all, in our land is an abonimation. But short of "ethnic cleansing" (not
endorsing) there's nothing that can be done about it militarily. Especially
when every campaign ever conducted against the brits was, and always will
be. compromised by scum like keeley, o'callaghan etc.

Mabye that would have something to do with the fact that the other agent involved in the murder of Republican Eoin Morley, (Mooch Blair),is still at large overseeing botched dissident operations in the Newry area. He would still be of high value to the Brits, and any court case involving Keeley might compromise Mooch.
I think this story has still more to yeild. Fact of the matter is Morley was a republican who was murdered by two agents masquerading as PIRA members, people like the Morley family shouldnt expect much from the Brits anyway.
The PIRA should have delt with the agents at the time, instead of adopting
the "ostrich" approach, by sticking their heads in the sand and ignoring
the evidence and protecting these agents. That is the bottom line, but who
is to say that those within the Provisional movement who carried out the
"inquiry" into Morleys murder were not acting on orders to sweep it all under
the carpet? It wouldnt be surprising now, would
it....?

Two things that may be of interest. First is an image including number plate of the publicity shy Garda ERU, a section of the Irish police.
Second is a link and attached image of double agent Peter Keeley/Kevin Fulton which you probably wont publish as he feeds cryptome with false stories but as Cryptome is against censorship who knows.
